EU Prize for Cultural Heritage / Europa Nostra Awards have been announced today: two prizes come to Romania!
The European Commission and Europa Nostra have announced today the winners of the EU Prize for Cultural Heritage / the Europa Nostra Awards 2017. After assessing 202 submissions from 39 countries, the jury awarded 29 prizes to projects or persons from 18 European countries. Two of these prizes come to Romania, for the restoration of the Cultural Palace of Blaj, proposed by Cluj architect Vlad Rusu, and for the activity dedicated to cultural heritage of Mr. Zoltán Kallós.
Association ARA is a member of Europa Nostra and is represented on the Council of this European network of heritage organisations.
