Exhibition "The Heritage of Roşia Montană in pictures" - FânFest
The associations Alburnus Maior and ARA presented from August 15 to 19, at the FânFest cultural festival, the first photography exhibition organised within the programme
The heritage of Roşia Montană in pictures
A first selection of photographic images taken within the documentation programme aimed at the cultural and natural heritage and tagged "The heritage of Roşia Montană in pictures" were exhibited in a spectacular location, on the slopes surrounding a former reservoir, in Ţarina, a neighbourhood not far away from the centre of the mining town of Roşia Montană. The 60 photographs on display are taken by artists selected after an open call and invited to attend a first photo-video workshop in Roşia Montană în June 2012, followed by site visits during the months of July and August.
The exhibition was opened on August 15th, within the FânFest cultural festival and will be itinerated to Cluj, Bucharest, Vienna and other locations to be announced. The project will conclude with the creation of an on-line archive and the publication of a catalogue.
